Meetings
Peers offers men and women from all cultures and backgrounds meetings in a welcoming and informal atmosphere*, relatively discreetly, but with the certainty that fellow members are within the same broad band of financial circumstances.
Experts may start a meeting by volunteering their latest insights. Members may ask questions and discuss the topic amongst themselves. Anything can be discussed in these monthly meetings: investing, banking, taxes, law, charity, long term planning, life style decisions and whatever else becomes of our interest. We do not aim for common decisions or common investments. We may negotiate collectively to leverage our combined buyng power to the max, but members consider information privately, decide and possibly invest individually and privately, without fellow peers members even knowing. Nothing is obligatory, but all matter of private choice for each individual member.
Our meetings are set up in such a way that members need to reveal absolutely no private information.
The monthly meetings are the starting point for members to gain information, share ideas and build relationships. Attendance is encouraged but not obligatory as we realise that members have busy and often international lives. Membership is private and confidential. No press is allowed at meetings unless otherwise stated at special events.
Meetings will usually take place in Mayfair, London, every second Tuesday of the month.
The present format of meetings is usually as follows:
4.00 pm - coffee/tea, catching up with fellow members in the antechamber;
4.30 pm - "Business" meeting with speaker(s) or topics for discussion in the meeting room;
6.00 pm - drinks in antechamber;
6.30 pm - dinner, snacks or buffet as the case may be, in house or at another venue, sponsored or not, with a speaker or the often much appreciated opportunity for private discussions among members.
