About PEERS

Peers creates opportunities for high net worth individuals (HNWI) to meet, exchange information, build buying power and negotiate better terms. Peers is a not-for-profit group. There are no joining and/or membership fees. The knowledge, connections and buying power of its members are its' capital.

Peers held its first meeting in January 2008. Now we count 50+ members with several billion Pounds in combined investable assets.

This new group aims to provide a new, valuable source of expertise, generate profitable ideas and good company. It works because Peers consists of like-minded people with the same wealth management challenges that have the same strong incentives to find solutions.

Peers specifically aims to provide:

A network of high net worth individuals (HNWI) connecting members to the wealth management grapevine, referrals, deal flow and tomorrows business partners
To have a network of decision makers in the management of their own wealth, can be a powerful tool in finding your way in the ever-changing wealth management landscape, as it can improve the quality of decisions and save time and money. A simple question can direct to that crucial person you would otherwise never have met. Members can entertain ideas that steer you in new directions. You may find new partners to share a friendly lunch over a common interest or find a partner in an investment.

Actionable investment intelligence specifically for high net worth individuals (HNWI)
Peers members are not interested in retail propositions nor in institutional investments. Peers provides opportunities to capitalise on the unique position of the HNWI as an investor, Peers aims to present actual investment opportunities that specifically suit the decision making HNWI, often on preferential terms.

Experts for quality wealth management
Peers regularly invites experts in fields of interest, be it legal, tax, portfolio management, banking or asset management. Our goal is two-fold:

1. To familiarise members, at least on an "executive summary level," with important issues they need to be acquainted with, so they are prepared to recognise problems and opportunities.

2. To introduce members to the experts that may one day help them solve a problem or use an opportunity.

The art of living well
Wealth management is not only about making money. When does one slow down and start to enjoy? How to organise the wealth management support that leaves you carefree to enjoy your wealth? How to spend it? At what rate? On yourself, on your children and grandchildren, on charity? What gives real gratification and peace of mind? Peers endeavours to find answers.
